Eco-friendly / Socially Responsible
Established in January 2016 by founder and creative director Bridget Tidey, Zii Ropa was born in the desert of Baja California Sur, Mexico. After spending years traveling the world, Tidey settled in Mexico to develop a design studio based on the principles of art, balance and longevity. Zii Ropa creates womenswear and unisex pieces, made with the best natural fiber textiles and sewn to last. All pieces are designed in Mexico. Zii Ropa produces a rotating catalogue of high-quality, minimalist pieces, based on muted landscapes and soft textures. Zii Ropa is inspired by the juxtaposition of these two lifestyles and the unique textures and traditions of Mexico. The brand strives to challenge the fast-paced and wasteful fashion industry by using deadstock fabrics and concentrating on season-less, made-to-last items. It continues to work to improve its eco-conscious and sustainable practices.
